EOH Discussion Group Information:

A group account has been established to provide a “venue for Eyes of Hawaii club members to exchange ideas” with fellow group members, if desired. The group is currently restricted to Eyes of Hawaii members in good standing who wish to participate.  The group is not publicly announced (to the world).

The group manager must be an EOH member and will approve membership requests and send membership invitations as required. (Nominations for group manager?)

The account is configured, by default, to broadcast e-mail, to all group members.  Those members who do not want broadcast e-mail are allowed to select other delivery options, or request removal from the group.

             a. Eyes of Hawaii member in good standing

                 (1) Request membership, (by e-mail) to the group manager ..or  Invitation from the group manager

             b. Google account  (If you already have a Google account you are set)..

Member's Presentation-Guidelines

1. The presentation should coordinated with the EOH president prior to the meeting.

2. Preparation

a. The preferred media for EOH member's presentations is the USB 2 flash drive.

                  Alternative - CD or DVD (from MAC, or Windows XP-OS, PC). (i.e. no Vista CD/DVD please)

b. Photos should be prepared in JPG format. (no raw, TIFF etc.)

c. JPG file size should not exceed 2 mb

d. File names/numbers should be assigned to represent the presentation order that is desired.

     (The default presentation order is based on a numeric then alphabet hierarchy).

1. Alternative 1 - No change, the original file numbers will determine the presentation sequence.

2. Alternative 2 - MS PowerPoint presentation using jpg files that do not exceed 2 mb,

                  (no renumbering is required)

e. Photos (jpg files) for the presentation should be placed in a single folder.

3. Members may bring their own computer and connect to the classroom projector.
